Burleigh Boardriders Single Fin Festival

We were at the Burleigh Boardriders Single Fin Festival on the weekend and thought we would share some of the moments caught on camera with you.

The famed Burleigh Heads churned out perfect 1.5m barrelling waves for the event, with all competitors riding pre 1985 single fin surfboards. David “Rasta” Rastovich managed to emerge from several of Burleigh’s finest tubes in the finals, showing spectators and fellow competitors that his local knowledge of the famed break is still intact. Rastovich outpointed a star-studded final with Jack Freestone, Noa Deane, Noah Lane, Thomas Woods and Anthony Pols who finished second to sixth respectively.
