Here’s a short sneak-peek of how I made this brand new campaign to help promote Lung Cancer Awareness. Using special effects make-up we made our actors’ mouths invisible, to create the visual metaphor of Lung Cancer being Australia’s biggest (unspoken) cancer killer. I shot this entire commercial on my trusty Nikon D4, mainly with my favourite 50mm 1.4 portrait lens. We shot it entirely with available light, something only possible with the magic of DSLR at our fingertips. This behind-the-scenes was captured by my Art Director on his Nikon 1, it was perfect to capture the quick moments in-between takes.
