Nikon winners strut their stuff at Fashion Week

Nikon announced the winners of their My Nikon Life ‘From the Hip’ photo assignment two weeks ago, giving two lucky photography enthusiasts the chance to become Nikon’s official photographers at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and learn fashion photography techniques from the biggest names in Australian fashion photography.

Signing on as the official camera partner for the event, Nikon launched its ‘From the Hip’ photo assignment in the weeks leading up to MSFW, with the ultimate fashion week experience up for grabs. Inspired by fashion week and the iconic laneways of Melbourne, My Nikon Life members were encouraged to upload images that captured their interpretation of ‘street style’ accompanied by a brief explanation of their shot. A panel of judges was given the difficult task of choosing two winners from the Sartorialist-style submissions.
