iF Design Award 2017 Recognition for the Nikon D5, D500 and KeyMission 360

Nikon D5, D500 and KeyMission receive the “iF award

Nikon cameras are awarded in the product discipline from the reputable international awards for outstanding designs

SYDNEY – Nikon Australia is pleased to annouce that the Nikon D5, D500 and KeyMission 360 are proud recipients of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2017 for the product discipline.

The “iF Design Award” is a globally prestigious design award sponsored by the iF International Forum Design GmbH since 1953. This year’s awards consisted of 5,575 entries from 59 countries for several disciplines including product, communication and packaging.

Both Nikon D5 and D500 have also been notably recognised by various awards since their respective release. These awards include TIPA Awards 2016 and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016, while the D500 also received the European Prosumer DSLR Camera 2016-2017 award from the EISA Award 2016-2017.

For over 60 years, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognised as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. The iF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world. Submissions are awarded in the following disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication and Service Design, Architecture and Interior Architecture as well as Professional Concepts. All awarded entries are featured on the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE, in the iF design app and are displayed at the iF design exhibition Hamburg.
