Introducing the AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR, first of it’s kind

Nikon Australia is pleased to announce the launch of the new AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR, the world’s lightest1 DX-format 16-80mm2 f/2.8-4 lens and the first to employ various class-leading NIKKOR technology usually found in super telephoto lenses, including Nano Crystal Coat.

The AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR is the first DX to incorporate Nano Crystal Coat technology, an adaptation of a coating featuring nano-sized crystal particles that effectively reduces flares and ghosting, to help you capture sharper imagery with every shot. This lightweight and durable lens also features a unique fluorine coat applied on the outer surfaces of the extreme front and rear lens elements, which effectively repels dust, water droplets, grease or dirt for easy removal – giving you the freedom to conquer the elements with total peace of mind.
