Nikon Australia supports the Australian Boardriders Battle Series

Boardriders Battle Series 2015

Nikon Australia is proud to support the Original Source Australian Boardriders Battle Series, Australia biggest boardriders event, started in September and going to colminate next weekend involving more than 60 Australia clubs.

The series is officially sanctioned by the World Surf League, which allows Australian WSL World Championship Tour surfers (men and women) the opportunity to represent their local boardriders club at respective State qualifying events and the National Final.

The National Final, to be held at Cronolla Beach, will offer once again a World Tour surfing event-like experience for the clubs and the fans. Live broadcast to big screens on the beach and major infrastructure along with great sponsor activations will ensure a fantastic celebration of club surfing colture is brought to life.

Each club team will include one junior (under 18) surfer, four open-age surfers, and one over 35 surfer. Each team must include one female surfer.

As a major partner of Surfing Australia, Nikon will be running two areas; a brand activation space, inviting visitors to learn more about the latest from Nikon, how to take their photography to the next level and test their skills in (inflatable) gladiatorial combat! For the more professional – or those aspiring to be – there is an opportunity to test Nikkor long lenses & professional DSLR within the NPS Depot, directly overlooking the competition.

In addition, for the Instagram addicted, head to the Nikon stand to find out how take your photography to next level and share it…straight away! There will be also the possibility to win a prize for the best image shot during the event!

To enter the social competition, please read Terms and Conditions below.
