Michael Snedic is one of Australia’s most accomplished wildlife and nature photographers, writers and tutors. His photos and photographic articles have been published in numerous publications both in Australia and internationally, since the year 2000. He has been photographing across Australia (and overseas) for the past 22 years and he has loved every minute of it!

He is an Ambassador for LensCoat Australia, as well as Ambassador and judge for the Nature Conservancy Australia’s Photo Competition (2015, 2016 and 2017).

An experienced, professional photography tutor, Michael is also a writer of photographic articles for magazines such as ‘Australian Geographic’, ‘Wildlife Australia, ‘Australian Birdlife’ and the UK’s prestigious ‘BBC Wildlife’. Michael has also been a regular feature writer for ‘Australian Photography’ magazine since 2006.

As owner of ‘WildNature Photo Expeditions’, Michael has presented hundreds of workshops and tours, to thousands of participants across Australia and the world, for the past 16 years. Australian locations include Lamington National Park (O’Reilly’s), Bowra Sanctuary Qld – Cunumulla (birds), Tropical North Qld (birds), Lord Howe Island, Tasmania, Girraween National Park (Qld), Kangaroo Island and more. Overseas photography expeditions he organises and leads include the Arctic, Antarctica, South Georgia, the Sub-Antarctic and Wrangel and Herald islands.

Michael is very passionate about wildlife and nature photography and loves sharing his images and photographic knowledge with students.
