Featuring an image sensor and our NIKKOR ultra-wide-angle, fixed-focal-length lens on both sides of the camera – two images are seamlessly combined in-camera to create an equidistant cylindrical image. The result? Sharp, accurate and perfectly aligned video and stills imagery.
Go wherever your heart desires
It’s waterproof1 down to 30m, shockproof2 to a drop of 2.0m, freezeproof3 down to -10°C and dustproof4. So now you really can immerse yourself in every experience. Whether it’s carving a trail on the alps, leaping from a plane or exploring underwater palaces – this action-junky goes where you go.
Every detail, every day
Every splash of a wave. Every grain of sand. Every bead of perspiration. Harness the power of 4K UHD5 video recording to capture your adventure in true cinematic quality. Record up to 3840 x 2160 resolution – without the worry of missing a single precious detail.
Share it all
Now you’ve shot it, share your adventure. With the SnapBridge 360/170 app6, you can take your pick with live view shooting and streaming playback options – via a smart device application for action cameras. The software’s electronic Vibration Reduction function also uses information recorded by the KeyMission 360 during shooting – calculating horizontal, vertical and rotational camera movements and allowing it to compensate for vibrations in the video. The only thing left to do is share your 360° videos8 with friends, family and envious co-workers – via YouTube or Facebook.
Let your imagination run wild.
Be artistic. Be experimental. Anything is possible. The versatile KeyMission 360 puts you in the command centre of creativity. Whether you want to shoot fuss-free in normal mode or express your artistry with a range of modes – you can do it all. Ranging from superlapse movie and loop movie to time-lapse movies – you’re in complete control. And with the free KeyMission 360/170 Utility software, you’ll have access to the very-best editing technology.

5 Data is recorded in 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) resolution, but the resolution of videos when viewed differs depending on the type of display or display magnification. The camera may be unable to capture subjects within about 60 cm/2 ft from the camera’s top, bottom, or sides because the subjects are outside the angle of view (i.e., the area visible in the frame). Point the lens toward important subjects when shooting. Under some shooting conditions, the boundaries of the composited areas may be misaligned.
6 The dedicated app “SnapBridge 360/170” is required to set up this camera, use remote photography, play back images, change settings, and more. Before setting up the camera, install the dedicated app on your smartphone or tablet. Wireless communication is not available when the camera is underwater. The camera will be in the initial pairing standby mode at the time of purchase (pairing refers to the setting used to connect the camera and compatible smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth). To shoot without pairing, turn on the airplane mode switch on the camera. If the airplane mode switch is turned off, the camera will return to the initial pairing standby mode.
7 Seamless sharing is only for still images.
8 Subjects located within approx. 60cm from the top, bottom and sides of the camera may not be photographed because they are out of the picture angle. Face the lens of the camera directly toward the target for important subjects.
