Superior image quality

With its impressive 16.1 effective megapixels and an EXPEED C2 image-processing engine, the COOLPIX P900 delivers sharp imagery with rich, vibrant colours. The revolutionary NIKKOR lens is designed with a Super Extra-low Dispersion Glass element, reducing chromatic aberration and allowing for a remarkably compact body. Even in low light, the backlight illumination CMOS sensor enables a maximum ISO of 6400 for clear imagery with superb contrast.

Nikon COOLPIX P900

Performance that goes above and beyond

Achieve crisp photos and videos as Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction (VR), stabilises shots at a shutter speed of approx. 5.0 stops2 faster. ACTIVE mode also reduces image blur when shooting on the move. Enjoy improved high-speed response time with reduced shooting time lag of approx. 0.12 seconds4 at wide-angle and 0.75 seconds5 at telephoto, so you can focus and capture moving subjects quickly and easily. Continuous shooting functions are just a click away, while unique bird-watching and moon modes perfectly complement super-telephoto capabilities.

Nikon COOLPIX P900

Pure photography pleasure

A 921k-dot 3-inch vari-angle TFT LCD monitor gives you the flexibility to capture dramatic high or low angle shots. Alternatively, the electronic viewfinder gives you the freedom to take control, as the built-in eye sensor detects your eye and automatically switches from monitor shooting to viewfinder shooting. Frequently used functions can be designated to the Fn button on the body, so you can change preferred settings with one touch. All you need is one hand to operate the camera as the command and mode dials are conveniently located for easy use.

Nikon COOLPIX P900

Nikon COOLPIX P900

More than just pictures

Create crisp, sharp Full HD movies by shooting in 1080/60p with stereo sound. The COOLPIX P900 comes equipped with side zoom control, which minimises camera shake, and a zoom microphone that changes direction to where you’re zooming, so your movies sound great too. A Time-lapse Movie function creates 10-second movies from still images captured at intervals.
