Food and travel go hand in hand. Here I have explored the contrast between the fresh produce of Balinese cooking and the ridiculously oversized portions of American food.

The first two images were shot traveling through Bali. Whilst driving through the rice fields I was immediately drawn to this colourful fruit stand on the side of the road, where we were offered free samples from a friendly Balinese woman. Later that day we had dinner at a fantastic traditional restaurant and were presented with this spicy and colourful array of dishes and accompaniments.

The second two images depict meals I ate in New York. As you can tell from the size of the cutlery, the pizza I ordered in Little Italy was gigantic. As were the cobb salad and large glasses of Coke consumed at a bustling diner.
