Sam received his Advanced Diploma in Photography (Commercial) in 2000, and soon after began working for Messenger Newspapers. He was then employed by The Sunday Mail in 2003, and continued working for the Sunday Mail/Advertiser until 2009, having work published extensively throughout Australia in News Limited publications. Sam has now returned to Messenger Community News and works there full-time.
He further teaches photography at Tea Tree Gully Tafe and shoots the occasional editorial style wedding as well.
