Unexpected Visitor

4 July, 2010 | chamellieon | Comments

Why do ghosts love old buildings? Memories? Something that’s as old as they are? This shot was aimed at making the viewer feel uneasy, imagine the door without the figure, now with – it plays a little cinematic in your mind, does it not?

Album Things that make you shiver...

Fear. Uncertainty. Sounds. Shapes. Your mind does the rest.
I want to provoke your mind into fear, into imagining all of the "what if's" and questioning the darkness. I want you not to look for the obvious, rather the subtle, look closely, get right in.

I have dedicated my life to capture all the breathtaking moments around me so that I may remember them when the world changes.

I aim to travel the world before I'm 30, chasing the images, colours and sensations that this world has to offer inspires me greatly. I have strong passions for Landscape, Animal/Wildlife and Event Photography.

My weekends are seen as large gaps of time for unlimited shooting - sleeping is what monday-friday is for. I'll photograph anything generally, at any of the prime times of day - early morning, late afternoon and night.

I would also love to get a job in the travel/photography industry, as I feel that I have so much more to give it!

Through the many ups and downs I've had in my short photographic experience, I've handled (and owned, in both short and long term periods) a number of Nikon's DSLR models including:
D50, D200, D70s, D300s and my baby, the d700 (which has seen its fair share of misfortune).
Please visit my Flickr site for more images recently coming out of my camera daily!
