With a massive 36x zoom delivering 22.5mm wide-angle to 810mm super-telephoto coverage and full HD movie recording, the easy-to-use and compact COOLPIX P500 is perfect for catching all the action – even if it’s on the other side of the park! The 7.5cm tiltable LCD monitor means you can shoot from down below or up above your head (over the other spectators) – it also makes it easy to share with everyone around you.

Stunning images The combination of a 36x NIKKOR lens, 12.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 8fps (approx.) continuous shooting, EXPEED image processing and wide ISO sensitivity range deliver superior picture quality in all conditions – even low light.

Full HD movies Record full 1080p HD movies with stereo sound and autofocus. Operate the zoom whilst recording and save a still image at any time by simply pressing the shutter button. Output to your HDTV using the HDMI mini cable (available separately).

Set the scene It’s easy to set the P500 up for the conditions with 17 scene modes including panorama, landscape and night portrait. Advanced shooting modes (P, S, A and M) give you more control.
