Last month we had great pleasure in announcing that Jenv73 was the My Nikon Life member who won our 'Where I Live' photography assignment. This month we’re happy to update you on all she experienced when she travelled to Fremantle as the official My Nikon Life correspondent for FotoFreo 2012.

A week-long celebration of photography, her prize included return flights to Perth for herself and a guest, accommodation and the loan of a shiny new Nikon 1 so she could shoot her own take on the events she attended.

Her hectic schedule for the week was jam-packed with highlights, kicking off on a Friday night with the eagerly anticipated Magnum Incite session at the Fremantle Art Centre, featuring renowned Magnum photographers Donovan Wylie and Antoine D’Amato.

On Saturday evening she was there at the famous Moores Building to experience the atmosphere of the opening of the Nikon-Walkley and Sporting Life exhibitions, including an amazing Magnum student slide show exhibition.

With so many things to see and so many people to meet, we think it’s best to let Jenv73 and, more importantly, her shots do the talking.

By the looks of it, Jenv73 certainly made the most of this exceptional week of photography, but we thought we’d leave the last words to her.

“I have a totally re-fired passion again and I can't put into words how thankful I am for that. We made so many new friends and contacts through the week that I'm sure we will catch up with again at future photography events. The whole week was mind blowing!!!"
