Nikon and Perisher

Nikon has also teamed up with Perisher to bring you daily snow reports. We have provided the Perisher Resort media team with a D300s to film their afternoon video reports. Proven durability to withstand extreme weather conditions, and with refined D-Movie capabilities that allows an external microphone input, in-camera movie editing and contrast-detect auto focus, the D300s is the perfect camera for the travelling photographer filming in the snow. Keep an eye out for these snow reports on Perisher’s website or subscribe to their database to get them emailed to you.

We have also given the roaming Perisher team a Nikon D5000 DSLR and a couple S8000 COOLPIX compact cameras to ensure they capture the exact snow conditions for their snow reports as they travel around the slopes finding the best spots for you to ski throughout the season. No risk of missing the moment due to camera freeze with these durable Nikon cameras!
