The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada were a spectacular event. We were lucky enough to receive a daily digest of photos from right in the thick of the action from Nikon Ambassador Delly Carr. The photography is simply awesome.

A lot of the sports at the Winter Olympics are foreign to us in Australia, but we did well picking up three medals;

• Dale Begg-Smith, silver, in the men’s freestyle skiing
• Torah Bright, gold, in women’s snowboarding
• Lydia Lassila, gold, for the aerials event in women’s freestyle skiing
