FotoFreo 2012 begins in just 4 days, it’s time to announce the winner of the My Nikon Life ‘Where I Live’ assignment who has won exclusive access to the month-long festival.

With nearly 100 entries for the assignment, we’re very pleased to announce Jenv73 as the winner.

Jenv73’s assignment entry caught the judge’s eye for her variety of images around the city of Melbourne and creative perspective on the MCG.

Jenv73 has won the following for herself and her guest:

• Return flights to Perth from her nearest Australian capital city,
• Transfers to and from Perth airport to Fremantle,
• 6 x night’s accommodation,
• Inclusion in FotoFreo volunteer’s program,
• Invitation to the opening of the Nikon-Walkley Finalist exhibition
• Attendance at Nikon Sporting Life Workshops on Tues 27th and Thurs 29th March,
• Loan of Nikon V1 for the duration of trip.

FotoFreo is an eagerly anticipated event in the world of photography held every two years in the city of Fremantle, WA. A month-long festival, FotoFreo 2012 will feature the work of leading photographers from Australia, Asia, Europe & North America along with a series of workshops, films and floor talks – all designed to promote and discuss everything and anything about photography.

One of the exhibitions we’re looking forward to seeing most is the winners of the FotoFreo 2012 ‘WA Life’ Photographic Competition. Giving photographers the chance to celebrate the things that make living in WA special, it’s a must see.
